It Makes Me ‘App’y! 3 Apps to Keep You Organized and Focused

appsMost of my clients are very well connected to their smartphones and other devices. There are tons of apps out there to help with productivity.  The choices are endless and this can make things confusing.

Today I am reviewing my three favorite apps to keep me organized and focused.

  1. WinStreak™ – This is one of my all time favorites because the purpose is to track daily ‘wins’ and plan successes for the next day. Entrepreneurship is a roller coaster ride like no other. By keeping track of your victories – big or small – it will help you to stay motivated. When you are on the bottom side of the ride, you can look back and review all you have successfully accomplished. Believe me, this can go a long way to keep you positive! Plus, it’s free.
  2. Insightly™ – I love this Customer Relation Management (CRM) system! It is easy to use, easy to plan and track my tasks and keep things from falling through the cracks. It is imperative to stay on top of your marketing reach and follow-up with people. Insightly™ offers free and for fee solutions. Automatic syncing between your mobile app and all devices makes keeping track of your potential customers and marketing records easy.
  3. Evernote™ What would I do without my Evernote™?! Entrepreneurs are always creating, looking at new options, coming up with new ideas. It is impossible to take action upon all those ideas at once. Even trying to is a sure formula for defeat. With Evernote™ you create notebooks and sort web clippings, emails, articles, pictures, recordings, etc. into separate categories. I often use it when I come across information for a future workshop or speech. This saves me time having to search for it as I put my presentation together. This app syncs across devices and with a paid version, is sharable with your team.

As stated before, there are many other apps that can aid you in becoming streamlined and focused. Find what works for you, and if there is a learning curve, stick with it until you are comfortable using the app. Don’t jump around looking for the “next best thing.”  Use these apps to keep focus!
